Mike Vitale is a 1992 initiate of the Beta Xi chapter at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. He served the chapter as Historian and Assistant Vice President for Pledge Education before transferring to the University of Texas at Austin in January 1994. While in Texas, he served the fraternity as Chapter Advisor for the Theta Omega chapter at St. Edward’s University in Austin, and as the first District Director for the reactivation of the Beta Kappa Chapter at the University of Texas at Austin. He also was an officer in the UT Scuba Club, and a member of the Showband of the Southwest, the Longhorn Band. He was also initiated into Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the international honorary society for the computing and information disciplines.
He graduated in December of 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas, and then moved to Naperville after finding a job in Chicagoland. He joined the CAC right away, and served on the CAC board from 2001-2003, and has been the Director in charge of All Things Internety for the CAC since 2009, and President of the CAC since 2016. Since the Grand Chapter Congress held in New Orleans in August of 2017, he also serves as a Trustee on the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation.
