It's at the Greater Chicago Food Depository (on the South Side, see attached links for more information) on Saturday, December 10 from 1:30-4:30. We need to arrive 15 minutes in advance so you should get there by 1pm. People need to RSVP with the CAC (by December 3rd) because we have to give them a count a few days in advance. Contact CAC Board Member Kelly at her email address at kbalu@allstate.com or cell phone at 773-817-2379. We will be most likely cleaning, sorting, and repacking food so people should wear jeans and gym shoes. Volunteers should be able to stand for 90 minutes and do a bit of bending and lifting. For those who are less physically able, I'm sure we can find something for them to do. Also, GCFD is running a volunteer food drive so everyone is encouraged to bring a can of food to donate if possible.
